New 2027 Acura RSX EVs: What We Know So Far
The coming 2027 RSX will be the second electric vehicle in the Acura lineup and it will be available at our dealership near Cincinnati. Reports indicate that the RSX will be the first car to be built on Honda's new in-house EV platform. The chassis of the prototype uses a control arm front suspension, comes with 21-inch wheels, and the superior stopping power of Brembo brakes. Performance
Acura says the RSX will have a dual-motor architecture, combining dual-motor power with a sport-tuned double wishbone front suspension system. The result will be precise handling and confident control for Milford drivers. The RSX will be engineered to be highly responsive and agile. This coming all-electric model will be engineered on a completely new EV platform and will be built at the Honda EV factory in Ohio. It will use both domestic and globally-developed components.
Technology
The RSX will use the ASIMO Operating System, an intelligent software platform that's developed within the Honda engineering world. It's based on the remarkable humanoid ASIMO robot that Honda unveiled in 2000. The software will integrate the management of electronic control units for safety technology with the infotainment system. The ASIMO OS is designed to seamlessly integrate key vehicle systems and will empower a more personalized, intuitive and connected approach to driving in the Middletown area.
